Sean is the realtor everybody hopes to find -- he's professional and knowledgable, but also somebody who becomes personally invested in your search. He is the definition of a team-mate who is both patient and understanding through a process that can often be challenging, time-consuming, and scary (especially to a young, first-time home buyer like myself.) I also appreciated Sean's willingness to acknowledge facts or questions he didn't have an answer to and would work tirelessly to get the info from the seller's agent or do the research for me. When we did finally find the perfect property for me and entered the active contract phase, he seemed to appreciate the fact I took plenty of time to review everything in detail -- even if it meant I'd find something that would be cause to cancel the contract -- and never made me feel like I should rush or assume everything was okay. Beyond that, Sean is the rare realtor who is able to be attentive and encouraging, without being high-pressure. I never once felt like he was trying to talk me into a property that wasn't an absolute perfect fit based on what I told him were my must-haves before making an offer. If anything, I deeply respected his willingness to give his honest and professional thoughts on the downsides of any given property we viewed instead of obscuring the possible downsides in hopes I'd miss them and move forward with making an offer. At the end of the process, I have both a new friend and somebody I'd happily recommend to anybody looking for a realtor in the DC area.
